Nikki Grimes began penning poetry at the age of six. Her many award-winning titles include the picture books Talkin' About Bessie: The Story of Aviator Elizabeth Coleman, which won the Coretta Scott King Illustrator Award and a Coretta Scott King Author Honor, and Meet Danitra Brown, which won a Coretta Scott King Illustrator Honor. There are some tough things written in this book and yet there is so much value in the message! This is a wonderful book year-round but especially nice at Thanksgiving. Even if we have little there is much to be thankful for- even for such a great book for young and old!
Ray Comfort's mix of humor, reason and sincerity when it comes to his desire to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ makes his books a joy to read. Yes there is the message of faith and service, dedication and desire but even more precious are his words of encouragement and the confidence that seems to ooze through the pages to inspire and motivate those of us who name the name of Jesus and are called by his name to overcome our fears, reach out to those around us and earnestly follow and fulfill Jesus' last commands to his disciples and to us in Mark 16:15 "And He said to them, “ Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature." Definitely enjoyed the practical applications using the same process over and over again.Recommend it to anyone who wants to be motivated to share the gospel.Ray and Kirk practice what they preach.
This book is an encouraging way to get comfortable with sharing the gospel.It has some interesting and thought provoking stories that help you get familiar with handing out gospel tracts.
Very entertaining and educational book gives many examples of Ray and Kirk witnessing to complete strangers effectively and inoffensively.
This book is so Awesome, it is encouraging and powerful witnessing encounters with people from different backgrounds and religions with both Ray and Kirk. a huge blessing!

I read this book and it was rather inspiring, but all of the content was very repetitious. I guess that's the point, as Ray Comfort and his evangelizing crew pretty much follow a single format approach to witnessing. There are plenty of examples on how the $1M tract is used, but after reading a few you'll get the idea.Not a bad book. I'm not disappointed I bought it but you can get most of the info found here by subscribing to their Podcast which is old episodes of the Way of the Master radio show. It's more entertaining too.
